The hike from Klewenalp to Stockhütte is one of the most popular hikes from the Klewenalp mountain station and suitable for everyone. After the ride with the Beckenried-Klewenalp cable car, follow the signs towards Stockhütte. The path leads from Klewenalp along the small road towards Stafel around the Klewenstock, through romantic alpine pastures and forest areas via Ängi to Stockhütte. After about 1 1/2 hours, you reach Stockhütte. From Stockhütte, you can either comfortably take the 6-person gondola or continue hiking down to Emmetten, which takes about another hour.
From Emmetten, you then take the post bus back to Beckenried.
The hiking trail is stroller-friendly (sports strollers recommended) and especially suitable for families with small children, equipped with various fire pits. At the Ängi junction, you can also choose the route via Twäregg, which, however, is not stroller-friendly.
The hike can also be done in reverse order.
