Probably there is no more popular ski route in all of Switzerland than the modest Laucherenstöckli, located between the Ibergeregg and Hoch Ybrig. And not without reason, because as short as the route may be, it enchants you again and again.

As soon as the first snow falls, you can see tracks from this lovely foothill summit leading over ideal ski slopes to Ybrig or to Illgau. Snow- and avalanche-safe, it is also well suited for less experienced hikers. Whether you approach more from the Ybrig or the Illgau side depends on the weather, snow conditions, and fitness level. However you decide, you meet again at the summit, discuss the panorama, and plan the next, possibly somewhat longer, route.
