Menzberg - Wolhusen (Alpine Panorama Trail)

The hike starts at Hotel Menzberg and leads south up the hill. We follow the Oberlehn signpost until we see the hiking board at the farm of the same name with the barking but harmless dog. There the Alpine Panorama Trail splits; we turn right towards Wolhusen.

After passing through the forest, we briefly follow the main road before turning right towards Längebüelschür and passing the beautiful fireplace Ofenlochrutsche. After another short stretch on asphalt, we follow the pleasant gravel path and are simply overwhelmed by the beautiful panorama with the magnificent view. And as if on cue, the sun now shows itself, allowing us to take a break on a bench before continuing to Steinhuserberg. There, a detour to the modern church St. Anna is worthwhile.

The last very steep section still challenges the legs, but soon we follow the tamed Emme river down to Wolhusen station.
