From Aarau, the path leads over Teufenthal, Kulm and Menziken on the old railway track up to Beromünster and from there further westwards to Vogelsang with a magnificent view of Lake Sempach. After a rapid but beautiful descent down to Schenkon, the return trip begins via Geuensee and west of the Suhre along through Knutwil, Winikon, Staffelbach, Holziken and Entfelden back to Aarau.

Directions & Parking facilities
Choose your preferred means of transport to Aarau and then head directly into the Aarau old town.
Aarau has a parking guidance system. For this route, the Flösserplatz car park, the Kasino, Kasernen or train station parking, as well as the Obere Schanz parking lot are conveniently located.
The Aarau old town can be reached by racing bike in about five minutes from the train station.

After all those kilometers, it's worth stopping at the Restaurant Vogelsang in Eich. There are also fire pits along the way.
