The hike begins at the Oberalp Pass. The ascent to the Fellilücke takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Old snowfields remain here well into the summer. At the Fellilücke, it’s worth looking back toward the Oberalp Pass to take in the impressive view.
A rocky path then descends gently to the idyllically situated Lutersee. An old cobblestone path, built by the military, continues almost straight ahead to the Stöckli. Here, hikers can enjoy a wonderful view of the wind farm. The descent leads through the flower-filled protective forest of the Chilchenberg and past grazing cows to Andermatt.
The hike includes several places of power. They’re concentrated at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour, and some even have the qualities of healing sites. What they all have in common is that they are ideal for recharging your energy. That’s why hikers may be surprised at the end of the tour—because it didn’t really tire them out.
