Oberalp Pass - Fellilücke - Andermatt
The hike begins at the Oberalp Pass. The ascent to the Fellilücke takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Here, you’ll find patches of old snow well into the summer. At the Fellilücke, it’s worth looking back toward the Oberalp Pass to enjoy the impressive view.
A rocky trail then descends gently to the idyllically situated Lutersee. An old cobblestone path, built by the military, continues almost straight ahead to Stöckli. Here, hikers can enjoy a wonderful view of the wind farm. The descent leads through the flower-filled protective forest of the Chilchenberg and past grazing cows to Andermatt.
The hike includes several places of power. They are concentrated at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour, and some even possess the qualities of healing sites. What they all have in common is that they are ideal for recharging your energy. That’s why hikers may be surprised at the end of the tour—because it didn’t really tire them out.
Important Note: On the following dates, sporadic military exercises using tracer ammunition (auxiliary ammunition) will take place in the Strahlgand area: August 5 / August 11–14 / August 19–21 / August 24–25. Visitors may continue to use these areas. However, military activities may occur from time to time. We ask for your understanding and appreciate your consideration.
