Rigi First Circular route

Tip
Winter hiking

Rigi Kaltbad - Rigi First - Rigi Kaltbad

The First route is an easy yet scenic hiking trail that leads through the magical Rigi winter wonderland.

The easy-to-walk path takes you from the village square of Kaltbad to Rigi First. On the flat and very easily walkable path with wonderful views of Lake Lucerne, special attention is due to the reformed mountain church by Zurich architect Ernst Giesel as well as the typical snow-covered conglomerate cliffs. From the sunny terrace at First, the idyllic upper First path leads back to Kaltbad. A delightful circular route without any exertion.
