From Rigi Scheidegg, you walk leisurely along the panoramic trail to Unterstetten. There, you leave the old railway track of the Kaltbad-Scheidegg Railway and hike via Rigi Klösterli to Fruttli. Directly after the Fruttli station of the Rigi Bahnen, you enter the wild romantic northern side of the Rigi. In the rough area, you can see rare plants and may even encounter a deer. Below Rigi Dächli, turn right over the impressive Aabach and reach your starting point Kräbel. This hike is especially suitable for warm temperatures as you spend a lot of time in bright forests.
Notes
The current operating status of the lifts and hiking trails can be found here.
