Roggenstock e-bike tour
The Roggenstock e-bike tour starts in Oberiberg and leads along varied nature trails and alpine paths through the panoramic mountain landscape around the Roggenstock. A long, steady climb awaits right at the start, which remains easy to ride thanks to e-bike support and repeatedly opens up beautiful views of the surrounding foothills of the Alps.
The route runs mostly on well-maintained natural roads, alpine paths and forest tracks. Along the way, you pass quiet alpine areas, open plateaus and typical landscapes of the Ybrig region. As the altitude increases, the panorama becomes more alpine and expansive. In the area around the Roggenstock, the tour reaches its highest point at around 1,850 m above sea level. Here, the experience is characterized by open mountain landscapes, alpine views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Technically, the tour remains rather easy overall and is primarily aimed at e-bikers who are looking for a varied tour with plenty of elevation gain without having to ride challenging trail sections. The descent is mostly along natural and alpine paths back towards Oberiberg and offers a pleasant, smooth ride without any major technical difficulties.
Finally, the route leads back to the starting point in Oberiberg.

- Getting thereThe starting point of the tour is in Oberiberg in Ybrig. Oberiberg is easily accessible by car from Schwyz or Einsiedeln.ParkingPublic parking is available in the village and at the cable cars. We recommend arriving early on nice weekends.Public transportationTravel by train to Einsiedeln or Schwyz and then take the Postbus to Oberiberg. The bus stops in the village are close to the start of the tour and make it easy to get to the Ybrig region.
