The wise mountain witch has lost her magical powers—only those who solve the puzzles along the way can find the magical stones and help her regain her powers.
The trail is about 1.8 kilometers long and takes roughly 30 minutes to complete, passing through eight varied puzzle stations. A real highlight is the 374-meter-long pedestrian suspension bridge “Skywalk,” which you’ll cross along the way. The trail is also easily accessible with a stroller and is open in both summer and winter.
How does the puzzle trail work?
First, pick up your puzzle booklet at the mountain station. Together with Rondo and Sam, you’ll set out in search of the eight puzzle stations. At each station, an exciting challenge and a magic stone with a letter await you. Collect all the letters to decipher the secret magic word at the end. Once you’ve found the correct magic word, you’ll not only help the wise mountain witch—but you’ll also be entered into the monthly raffle.

- Rondo’s puzzle trail starts at the Mostelberg mountain station. From there, the trail leads to the left toward the 374-meter-long pedestrian suspension bridge, the “Skywalk.” As
you
cross the impressive suspension bridge, enjoy the view of the Lauitobel and the Ägerital before arriving on the opposite side.After the bridge, you’ll reach the Gruebi fire pit—an ideal spot to take a break surrounded by nature. The route then continues to the right along a gravel path toward Herrenboden. This section offers a pleasant walk through open countryside. Once you return to the paved path, the trail turns right and leads back to the Mostelberg mountain station.
