Set off on a magical adventure with Rondo and his best friend Sam Salamander. On the puzzle trail, exciting tasks, fantastic views, and a mysterious mission await you. The wise mountain witch has lost her magical power, and only you can help restore it.

The approximately 30-minute path leads over the spectacular 374-meter-long suspension bridge "Skywalk" and offers nature, play, and magic for the whole family. The trail is open both in summer and winter and is even suitable for strollers, perfect for a family-friendly mountain outing.

Grab a puzzle booklet before you start and solve the tasks along the way. If you solve all the puzzles, you can participate in a monthly prize draw and with a bit of luck, win a great prize.

The Path

  • Stroller: well suited in summer

The suspension bridge can only be crossed one way from the mountain station with strollers and wheelchairs.

Directions & Parking facilities

By Car

Arrival from Lucerne:

Take the A4/E41 motorway to exit 39. Leave the motorway towards Schwyz, Sattel, Einsiedeln and then follow the signs to Sattel. Just before the village of Sattel, turn left onto Schlagstrasse and then right to the Sattel-Hochstuckli cable car car park.

Arrival from Ticino:

Take the A2/E35 motorway to exit 36. Leave the motorway towards Altdorf, Schwyz, Zurich and follow the road towards Schwyz and Sattel. Just before the village of Sattel, turn left onto Schlagstrasse and then right to the Sattel-Hochstuckli cable car car park.

Arrival from Zurich:

Take the A3 motorway to exit 37. Leave the motorway towards Richterswil, Einsiedeln, Samstagern and follow the road towards Sattel and Schwyz. In Sattel, turn left into Mostelbergstrasse and then again left into Sommerschwendistrasse.

Parking

Paid parking at the valley station Sattel-Hochstuckli.

By Public Transport

Take the train to Schwyz station. Then take the bus to Schwyz center, change there and take the bus towards Sattel - Rothenthurm - Schindellegi. Line 507.
