Root path through the Chäswald

The hike begins in the middle of the village, where the post bus stop or the Roggen parking lot is located. You walk a short distance on Tschalunstrasse before turning left onto Roggsytenstrasse. After a few hundred meters, take the shortcut through a short forest. At the end of the forest, continue again on the asphalt road to Guggeli. From the huge Nuollen rock overhang, cool water drips, rustic wooden bridges lead over small streams up to Fuederegg.

Past inviting barbecue areas at Fuederegg, you reach Laucherentobel. There is a descent to the mineral water spring called the "Mountain Spirit." Trying it is a must: hold your nose and take a sip of this miracle water.

On the hiking route, continue over open pastureland to Bueffen and to the valley station of the Laucheren chairlift.
