Schneetandliweg Brunni

From Engelberg station, the free sports bus takes you directly to the valley station of the Brunni cable cars, from where you take the gondola to Ristis and the start of the 2.5 km long winter hiking trail. The Schneetandliweg passes right past the mountain restaurant Ristis and is signposted with pink winter hiking trail signs. At the fork before the trail ascends, keep left and follow the forest edge all the way to the Ried. Through the forest, it goes back to the Ristis mountain station. The path is walkable in both directions and the hiking time is about 45 minutes. Back to the village and the station you go again by cable car.
