The beautiful trail runs along Lake Sihlsee, past the Roblosen trail café (watch for signs, closed on Tuesdays). You must try a trail coffee there! The view over Lake Sihlsee to the mountains is fantastic. Then it continues to the Schwantenau moor area, a beautiful moor landscape with tilted peat huts and birch forests. After cross-country skiing, you can refresh yourself at the trail café at the start area and enjoy the sun.
The loop can be completed in 1 / 2 / 3 / 9 / 12 / 15 km. The area around Lake Sihlsee and the Schwantenau moor is beautiful. Equipment can be rented at the start area. Book a cross-country skiing course.

Ski Rental
You can rent skis, boots and poles (only daily rental, no seasonal rental). The equipment must be returned by 4 pm. Rental equipment cannot be reserved. On busy days, especially on weekends, longer waiting times outdoors may occur.
This year, the Schwedentritt Club is selling no rental equipment!

At traffic light (Nüberg) turn left towards Einsiedeln/Ybrig to Einsiedeln/Kloster exit. Drive to Parkhaus Brül or the public parking spaces.

Exit station and go left. 10-minute walk towards MIGROS/Eisenbahnhstrasse to Grosser Herrgott. Cross Etzelstrasse to Loipendörfli. Start Schwedentritt. Alternatively, take the bus to the Einsiedeln, Klosterplatz stop.
