A short walk from the station towards Alpthal leads us to the starting area of the Bolzberg-Trachslau trails. Right at the trail entrance Grotzenmühle is the Nordic Shop with ski rental and changing rooms, the Swiss cross-country skiing school Einsiedeln, and a trail café. From there, the cross-country area splits into two routes and includes a total of 25 trail kilometers including a night trail. The 10-kilometer-long and mostly flat Sonnenloipe passes by the women's monastery Au and over meadows to Trachslau where the restaurant Tändli invites you to linger. Those who prefer a hillier route will surely appreciate the 11-kilometer Bolzberg trail. Already after two kilometers, a wonderful view opens up to the baroque Einsiedeln monastery church and the distant shimmering ski jumping hills.

Nordic Shop & Rental (only during December to March and cross-country trail operation)
You can rent skis, boots, and poles (only daily rentals, no seasonal rentals). The rental is open daily from Monday to Sunday during trail operation.
Reservations are accepted online until 3:00 pm the day before online. Reservation fee: 5 CHF. Despite reservation, waiting times may occur. Please allow enough time to pick up your rental equipment.
Please note: If you have already booked your rental equipment with a cross-country skiing course, this reservation is not necessary!
