A short walk from the station towards Alpthal leads us to the start area of the Bolzberg-Trachslau trails. Right at the trail entrance Grotzenmühle is the Nordic Shop with ski rental and wardrobe, the Swiss cross-country ski school Einsiedeln, and a trail café. From there, the cross-country area splits into two routes, covering a total of 25 km of trails including night trails. The 10 km mostly flat Sonnenloipe passes the Frauenkloster Au and crosses meadows to Trachslau, where the Restaurant Tändli invites you to linger. For those who prefer something hillier, the 11 km Bolzbergloipe is sure to inspire. Already after two kilometers, a wonderful view opens up of the baroque Einsiedeln monastery church and the ski jumps shimmering in the distance.

Nordic Shop & Rental (only during December to March and trail operation)
You can rent skis, boots, and poles (day rental only, no season rental). The rental is open daily from Monday to Sunday during trail operation.
Reservations are accepted online until 3:00 pm the day before. Reservation fee: 5 CHF. Despite reservation, waiting times may occur. Please allow enough time to pick up your rental equipment.
Please note: If you have already booked your rental equipment with a cross-country course, this reservation is not necessary!
