Seengen, Hallwyl Castle - Gelfingen, Heidegg Castle, a bike tour from Lake Hallwil to Lake Baldegg

The first section leads on the main road from Hallwyl Castle via Seengen to Meisterschwanden. This route is the official bike path, also marked as SwitzerlandMobility Route Number 56. To avoid riding on the main road between Seengen and Meisterschwanden (there is a bike lane), we recommend turning left at the exit of Seengen and taking the small detour as indicated on the map. At the entrance to Meisterschwanden, you meet SwitzerlandMobility Route Number 56 again. Through the neighborhood, the paved path leads towards Lake Hallwil. Before the bike path continues on a natural surface, you can turn off to the Hotel Seerose Resort & Spa and the Seerose beach for a break. Back on the bike path, you ride along the flat bike route via Mosen to Ermensee. The charming spots by the Aabach in Ermensee invite you to linger. Then it continues to Richensee, where you switch to SwitzerlandMobility Route Number 84. Soon you reach the destination of the bike tour, Heidegg Castle in Gelfingen. From Gelfingen station, you take the S-Bahn back to the starting point.
