A route full of sensory impressions – magnificent panoramas, historic insights, sparkling lakes and enjoyable breaks.

The panoramic circular route takes you straight to a culinary and historical highlight – the Heidegg Winery with over 20, partly rare wines and the historic Heidegg Castle. Heidegg Castle was built over 800 years ago and was the most important country seat of the Lucerne patriciate. Today, it houses a museum and the wonderfully fragrant rose garden. Both are publicly accessible.

After a climb, continue to the Sulz Cross, where you are rewarded with a magnificent view of Lake Baldegg and the Alps. With views of the Aargau Seetal and the Jura, you cycle along the ridge of the Lindenberg further to Schongau, where a Kneipp facility awaits you for refreshment. After Hilfikon Castle, the bike path leads over the hill to Lake Hallwil.

A short detour to the 800-year-old water castle Hallwyl is worthwhile in Seengen. From Seengen, you pedal comfortably on the bike path towards Meisterschwanden, where the Hotel Resort & Spa Seerose invites you to enjoy a break with a view of the turquoise shimmering Lake Hallwil. Along the shore and always accompanied by a magnificent panoramic view of the Alps, you cycle to Aesch. Here, the historic Klosterhof Winery invites you to an enjoyable rest. For more than 400 years, noble drops have been produced here from local grapes. The mostly flat path takes you full of impressions back to Hitzkirch.
