Snowshoe route Niederbauen - Niederbauen Chulm
From Emmetten, take the cable car to Niederbauen. At the mountain station, there is a café right next door in the Berggasthaus Niederbauen with a fantastic view of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. The route from Niederbauen mountain station to Niederbauen Chulm is not groomed or marked for snowshoe hiking.

Snowshoes can be rented at the valley station of the Emmetten-Niederbauen cable car and at the valley station of the Emmetten-Stockhütte gondola.
Good equipment and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Directions & Parking facilities
Take motorway A2 Luzern-Gotthard, exit Seelisberg/Emmetten/Beckenried and drive towards Emmetten.
Paid parking spaces are available in Emmetten at the valley station of the Emmetten-Stockhütte gondola. From there, the valley station of the Emmetten-Niederbauen cable car is 300 meters (approx. 5 minutes) away.
The Emmetten, Post station from Stans is easily accessible by post bus. The Emmetten-Niederbauen cable car is 300 meters (approx. 5 minutes) from the bus stop.
