Snowshoe route Niederbauen - Unterst Hütte
From Emmetten, take the aerial cableway to Niederbauen. At the mountain station, there is a coffee directly next door in the Niederbauen mountain inn with a fantastic view of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. The route leads towards Ebnet and via Hölloch to Unterst Hütte and back again via Hölloch to the Niederbauen mountain station.

Snowshoes can be rented at the valley station of the Emmetten-Niederbauen aerial cableway and at the valley station of the Emmetten-Stockhütte gondola lift.
Good equipment and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Directions & Parking facilities
Take the A2 motorway Luzern-Gotthard, exit Seelisberg/Emmetten/Beckenried, and drive towards Emmetten.
Paid parking spaces are available in Emmetten at the valley station of the Emmetten-Stockhütte gondola lift. From there, the valley station of the Emmetten-Niederbauen aerial cableway is 300 meters (approx. 5 minutes) away.
The Emmetten, Post station from Stans is easily accessible by post bus. The Emmetten-Niederbauen aerial cableway is 300 meters (approx. 5 minutes) from the bus station.
