The snowshoe trail starts at Hospental station. We cross the Reuss and follow it for a few meters. Then the path gradually rises. Over the moss, we reach Bielenboden, pass old barns before returning to the old Furka Pass road. To finish, we cross the Reuss again over the historic arched bridge.
This short, technically easy circular route offers diverse views into the Urserntal and can also be walked in the evening with appropriate equipment. The silence and the delicate light of the moon will delight you!

Directions & Parking facilities
You leave the highway at Göschenen and drive towards Andermatt. Once you arrive in the valley, turn right at the first roundabout. Follow the signpost towards Gotthard. Soon you can turn right into the village of Hospental. After 200 m, a road runs down to the station on the right.
You will find enough parking spaces at Hospental station.
You can comfortably reach Hospental station with the Matterhorn-Gotthard railway.
