Located at 1300 meters, the Stoos Dorf trail is mostly above the fog line in the sunshine. The entrance is at the Stoos mountain school. Only a few meters of elevation need to be covered. Along the way, there is a beautiful view of the Grosser Mythen. The trail is groomed for classic and skating styles. The steepest funicular in the world brings cross-country skiers from Schwyz-Schlattli up to the mountain village of Stoos.
