- Destination: Stoos - Seeli
Located at 1300 meters, the Frontal trail is snow-sure and mostly above the fog line in sunshine. The start is at the Stoos-Seeli, an artificial mountain lake, appreciated especially by families and fishermen in summer. The easy trail is characterized by two short climbs and two descents. There are only a few elevation meters to cover, and its loops make the trail interesting. Along the way, you have a beautiful view of the Grossen Mythen. The trail is groomed for classic and skating styles. The Stoos cross-country ski area is among the ten highest located cross-country ski areas in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne region. The steepest funicular in the world takes cross-country skiers from Schwyz-Schlattli up to the mountain village of Stoos.
