The tranquility of nature and pure winter enjoyment await all snowshoe enthusiasts on Fürenalp. From Engelberg station, the free local bus takes you to the Fürenalp valley station. Here, snowshoes and ski poles can be rented if needed. The small aerial cableway takes you up to Fürenalp, the starting point of the 2.3-kilometer snowshoe tour. This is also well suited for beginners and children due to its topography. The route starts immediately on the left at the mountain station. This part of the trail offers a wonderful view of the Titlis and its glacier. Be sure to have your camera ready and soak in the silence of nature. After one kilometer, more than half of the snowshoe tour is done, and the path gently descends back to the starting point. Once at the mountain restaurant, the cozy room invites you to warm up and indulge. The return to the valley is then made with the nostalgic little train.
