Above the mountain village of Isenthal, the small, family-friendly ski area Gitschenen offers a trail – surrounded by prominent peaks such as Uri-Rotstock, Älpler, Maisander, and Brisen.
Right next to a ski lift is a small but fine trail that can be used free of charge. The entry is reached after a short walk from the mountain station. The cozy trail meanders over relatively flat, open terrain. From the route, cross-country skiers enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain panorama with Uri Rotstock, Schlieren, and Sassigrat. The route can be shortened at one point.
