Treschhütte is located in the wild-romantic Urner Fellital at 1475 m above sea level. It is well suited for families and offers a total of 32 beds. The roughly two-and-a-half-hour hut path from Gurtnellen is already a special nature experience. It runs for long stretches along the Fellibach, whose banks invite you to linger. Past green meadows and rock walls, the path leads up to the hut, where you can also stay overnight. Treschhütte is located in the wild-romantic Urner Fellital. It is a traditional hut that was expanded with an annex in 2012, combining rustic coziness with modern equipment. It is well suited for families and offers a total of 32 beds, six of which are in two small family rooms.
Between Pentecost and October, Treschhütte is staffed by a well-coordinated team of volunteers.

Directions
Right from the start, the route goes up to Felliberg and through the forest towards Treschhütte. On the left, Bristenstock towers nearly 2000 m above the valley. Finally, ascending more steeply again, you reach Treschhütte after 2 1/2 hours, which at 1475 m above sea level is the lowest SAC hut. Freshly strengthened, it is worth pushing a little further into the Fellital. In this nature reserve, the mountain nature is truly intact.

Directions & Parking facilities
By car, drive into the Fellital to the parking lot in the forest and start right there to Treschhütte. This shortens the ascent by about half an hour.
Follow the Fellital road and park in the forest directly next to the road.
The Fellital is accessible by bus from Auto AG Uri. Change at the stop 'Gurtnellen - Fellital' to start the hike. The timetable is as follows: Auto AG Uri
