Tour

A rather short but very enjoyable biking route on the southern flank of the Rigi chain between Seewen and Brunnen. Especially suitable for spring and autumn or the evening hours when the sun has already bid farewell from the south-facing slopes. The trails require good riding skills, but the few really difficult sections can easily be managed on foot if necessary.

The Urmiberg forms the eastern foothill of the Rigi chain. Its slopes are sun-kissed, and even the trail sections located in the forest dry quickly after rain. This is an advantage because the trails are technically not super difficult, but they partly run over roots. After starting in Brunnen, the route leisurely follows the Muota to Unterseewen. The subsequent climb leads with an ideal gradient up to Brunniberg. What follows is some of the finest that MTB has to offer: varied forest and meadow trails with sensational views above the lake.

On the way back, the Brunner Lido invites you to cool down, either by taking a refreshing dive into the water or by enjoying a cool drink.
