Central Switzerland: circular hiking trail
On the Via Silva, awaiting you are a cosy forest path under beech, fir and other native tree species, a cosy picnic area with shelter, table, benches and barbecue, as well as a total of 50 informative and entertaining panels on the theme of the protection forest.
On the way along Via Silva, the clever, droll forest goblin Silvio accompanies nature lovers of all ages through the protection forest with questions, riddles and the occasional wink. The total length of the trail is 7 km, the walking time is about 2.5 hours.
The adventure trail Via Silva was deliberately designed with children in mind. The droll forest goblin Silvio introduces you to the forest theme with funny stories, surprising questions and brainteasers.

Arth (421 m) - Schattenberg - Gadenstatt (438 m) - Turmbann - Boliwald (621 m) - Gadenstatt (428 m) - Arth (421 m)
The starting point of this circular route is at the chapel of St. Georg in Arth. The path leads over the Arth valley floor to the Rigilehne, continues along the old Arth Rigiweg uphill to the Boliweg and finally to the main and picnic area in the tower. The way back is then along the partly newly created footpath to the Boli ramp and past the Gadenstatt to the starting point.

At the catholic church there are paid parking spaces available.
However, we recommend public transport instead of cars: lean back, be stress-free and do something good for the environment.
The arrival is comfortable by train and bus:
Take bus no. 21 from Arth-Goldau railway station (bus stop Arth Dorf). The footpath to the boarding point of the Via Silva is marked with appropriate signposts from the main road, opposite the town hall square.
