Arth - Schattenberg - Gadenstatt - Turmbann - Gadenstatt - Arth

The Via Silva is an adventure trail on the northern slope of the Rigi, which brings nature lovers closer to the diverse functions of a classic protective forest.

On the Via Silva, you will find a cosy forest path under beech, fir, and other native tree species, a comfortable picnic area with shelter, table, benches, and grill, as well as a total of 50 informative and entertaining panels on the topic of protective forest.

Along the Via Silva, the clever, quirky forest goblin Silvio accompanies young and old nature lovers with questions, puzzles, and the occasional wink through the protective forest. The path length is about 7 km, walking time approximately 2.5 hours.

The Via Silva adventure trail was deliberately designed for children as well. The quirky forest goblin Silvio guides you to the topic of the forest with funny stories, surprising questions, and brain teasers.
