View Hiking Walking Trail Illgau

Past the historic Sigristenhaus inn, at the village crossroads turn left over the Bettbach uphill towards Oberberg. You hike over green meadows to the Wart junction, from where you follow the hiking trail on the left towards Muotathaler Bänkli to Fallenflue in the shade of the forest. Enjoy the rewarding view of the Stoos and across the Muota valley. Now continue along the forest trail to the second viewpoint, the Fallenflue Chänzeli. The Schwyz basin lies at your feet here. Through the Fallenflue forest you reach the St. Karl restaurant. If hunger or thirst troubles you, refresh yourself at the Hildegardhotel. Now follow the mountain road towards Illgau to Unter Zimmerstalden. Now leave the road and take the hiking trail on the left via Ober Hasen to Oberberg. In the cozy and family-friendly mountain inn Oberberg you can refresh yourself and enjoy the great view. Shortly afterwards you are back at the mountain station of the Illgau - St. Karl aerial cableway. Comfortably and pleasantly you get back to the starting point in the village of Illgau by cable car and can admire the Muota valley mountains and the Stoos Alps.
