The beautiful hike starts at the Voralpkurve and thus the bus stop "Voralp" in the Göscheneralp valley. From there, the route goes up the Voralptal to the Voralphütte. The path leads through the forest along a beautiful mountain path. After about 20 minutes, the Voralptal opens up and gently ascends to the Horefelli Alp. Shortly before the Alp, you can see the Voralphütte. After the Alp, you can choose between the left or right path along the Voralpreuss. There is a small intermediate ascent and then it flattens again until Flachensteinen (the last alpine hut). Now the somewhat steeper final ascent to the hut begins. Along the way, you pass meadows, flowers, rocks, and streams. The Voralphütte lies on a sunny mountainside at 2126 m above sea level, surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop. A break on the hut's terrace is worthwhile to admire the snow-covered mountain peaks, the Voralpreuss, and the glaciers of the Sustenhorn.
