Since 2004, the Wiesner family’s restaurant concept has been bringing Asian street food to Switzerland. The menu features freshly prepared noodle and rice dishes, curries, soups, and sushi, inspired by the cuisines of Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China, and other Asian countries. The name “Nooch” stands for “munching on noodles” and perfectly captures the restaurant’s straightforward philosophy of enjoyment. Market-fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs are cooked briefly in the wok, allowing their fresh flavors to shine through. When the weather is nice, the terrace offers additional space for a delightful break. Responsible dining also plays a key role in the concept: The Wiesner Gastronomie family focuses, among other things, on meat from Switzerland, certified seafood products, plant-based alternatives, and reducing food waste. With its Level II – Engaged rating in the Swisstainable sustainability program, the company underscores its commitment to more sustainable dining. Thanks to its location in the Mattenhof neighborhood, a visit to the restaurant can also be easily combined with a stay or a sightseeing tour in the Kriens and Lucerne area.
