Lungern-Turren-Bahn
The cable car climbs around 800 meters in just a few minutes and provides access to a popular excursion destination with views of the stunning mountain scenery. On the Turren there is a restaurant, the Turrenhuis (accommodation), a spacious barbecue area and a playground for families. The region is ideal for hikes, for example into the Schlierenbach valley or in around 1.5 hours to the Bärghuis Schönbüel, which impresses with a magnificent view of the Bernese Alps.
The Turren region also has a lot to offer in winter: In good snow conditions, snowshoe trails, winter hiking trails and ski touring routes invite you to enjoy quiet nature experiences away from the hustle and bustle. The Lungern-Turren Railway thus offers access to a varied recreational area for sports and nature lovers in both summer and winter.

By car: From Zurich, take the A4 highway to Lucerne and continue towards Interlaken. At Hergiswil change to the A8 in the direction of Sarnen as far as Lungern. Parking spaces are available directly at the valley station.
By train: From Lucerne or Interlaken take the Zentralbahn (zb) to Lungern station.
