The route starts right away with a highlight – the Trostburg. The medieval hilltop castle stands on a 40 m high rocky outcrop above Teufenthal. The castle is privately owned and unfortunately cannot be visited. Not far from the Trostburg you will find the next castle complex – Castle Liebegg. The castle from the 12th century is now used as an atmospheric event location. One of the towers houses the witch museum. Past the sandstone caves, the path runs mostly on field and forest paths to Seon. Once you reach the Aabach, you are on the educational trail "Industrial Culture on the Aabach" (see pages 6-11). The final stage location is Lenzburg with the impressive, thousand-year-old castle. The exhibition is open from April to October, from Tuesday to Sunday. In the historic old town, you can enjoy an aperitif and review the day.
