- Start: Andermatt Station
- Destination: Nätschen Station
In summer, the hiking trail Andermatt-Nätschen leads on a narrow path, uphill along lush meadows and pastures. The hike starts in the idyllic village center of Andermatt. At the roundabout, where the village bakery and Coop are located, it goes up to the Wyler district. At first, you walk on the sidewalk along the road until the hiking trail turns off on the right side after the underpass for the train (small bridge where the train passes over). The higher you go, the better the view of the mountains of the Gotthard region and the Ursern Valley becomes. About 350 meters of altitude must be overcome to reach the "sunny slope of Andermatt." Nätschen is considered one of the 10 sunniest places in Switzerland. Once at Nätschen, the restaurants with views of the high alpine area up to the Furka Pass invite you to soak up the sun. Far below, Andermatt nestles against the mountain. Also impressive: the loops of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn accompany you throughout the tour.
