Snowshoe
A circular tour on which the winter wonderland can be perfectly explored on snowshoes.

The circular tour starts at the Andermatt village bridge and leads towards Unteralptal to Mettlen. This is the highest point of the tour and also its turning point; a good place for a short stop. From here you have a view of the Gurschenbach icefall. On the way back, you cross the Gurschen valley descent and pass the Brunnen Schützenhaus. Here it is worth taking a look down into the valley: the view extends as far as Hospental and the Schöllenen. Pass the Mariahilf Chapel on the way back to the starting point.
