The hike up to the watchhouse and along the Bäz road promises magnificent views. From the Bäz, it then goes down to Hospental and along the golf course back to Andermatt

The circular hike starts at Andermatt train station and first leads west. Cross the station bridge and then turn right to the underpass at the Ursern power station. Through the underpass, you reach the beginning of the golf course. On the northern side of the valley, the path steadily climbs in zigzags for 200 meters. Then, you overcome another 200 meters in elevation on the scenic high trail to the watchhouse on Bäzberg. Hikers are rewarded with stunning views over the golf course and the entire Ursern valley. Above the watchhouse, the old military road leads west and merges after about four kilometers into the Furka high trail. From here, you descend to Hospental and return over the golf course to Andermatt.
