The Flower Trail on Mount Pilatus is a true natural gem. It leads from Pilatus Kulm to Tomlishorn (2,128 m) and invites hikers to discover a remarkable variety of alpine flowers in their natural habitat, from creamy white alpine anemones to bright blue gentians. Along the well secured panoramic path, information boards explain the different plant species, their colours and flowering seasons. Stunning views of the surrounding Alps turn the walk into a feast for the senses. With a bit of luck, ibex can be spotted in the early morning or evening, climbing gracefully along the rock faces. The Flower Trail is a project of Pro Pilatus, dedicated to preserving the Pilatus region.
