Monastery Forest Educational Trail
The forest educational trail begins south of the monastery grounds along the Johannisbächli stream and leads into the monastery forest. Numerous panels provide information about the forest as a protective and recreational area for humans, as a source of wood, and as a habitat for animals and plants. Along the way, there are three well-equipped barbecue spots. The path is mainly in the monastery forest, only the beginning of the educational trail lies outside the forest.

- Take exit no. 39 (Schindellegi) from the A3 motorway coming from Chur or no. 37 (Richterswil) from Zurich.
- From Lucerne, Zug, Schwyz, Gotthard to Schwyz and the cantonal road no. 8 via Sattel - Rothenthurm - Biberbrugg to Einsiedeln.

Take part in a monastery tour. Visit the monastery church and the cloister library, which is not open to the public, and get to know the church and the life of the monks a little better.
