The forest educational trail is a themed path through the monastery forest right next to the monastery. The walking path is suitable for both young and old.

The forest educational trail begins south of the monastery grounds along the Johannisbächli stream and leads into the monastery forest. Numerous panels provide information about the forest as a protective and recreational area for humans, as a source of wood, and as a habitat for animals and plants. Along the way, there are three well-equipped barbecue spots. The path is mainly in the monastery forest, only the beginning of the educational trail lies outside the forest.
