Summit climbers beware: The approximately 600 meters of elevation require a certain basic fitness and good footwear.

Conquer the Queen of the Mountains following the footsteps of the great poet of world literature! The Rigi railway conveniently brings you to the starting point Romiti. From Rigi First, the mountain trail first leads over lush alpine meadows and then through beautiful mixed forests to scenic heights. Above Klösterli, where Goethe stayed, it crosses the track of the Arth-Rigi railway. The crowning ascent follows via Staffel to the Rigi summit, where the stunning 360° panoramic view makes you forget all the exertions in no time. The prince of poets took the path to the summit on his first Swiss journey (1775) and was completely thrilled. Convince yourself.
