Below the cable car station, the Rigiland adventure playground invites the youngest Rigi visitors to play and have fun. After letting off steam, kids will likely enjoy a picnic at the generous fire pits. A subsequent minigolf game on the adjacent course completes your family outing.
Afterwards, you should definitely take a short walk to the Känzeli viewpoint. The level path leads through the adventurous Grandwald with its mystically appearing rock formations. It’s no wonder that, according to legend, the shy Rigi Wildmannli once lived here. They still greet you today as amusing figures by the path. However, we recommend public transportation instead of driving: sit back, enjoy, and do something good for the environment at the same time.
The Rigi Kaltbad station is accessible from Vitznau by the cog railway or from Weggis by the cable car.
