Sarnen - Melchsee-Frutt

The route starts in the valley at around 470 m above sea level and winds steadily uphill to the Frutt at 1,920 m above sea level. On the way, you pass through idyllic villages, green alpine meadows, and follow the course of the Melchaa through the wild romantic Melchtal. The last kilometers from Stöckalp follow the well-developed Frutt road, rewarded with a steady incline and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, the high plateau around Melchsee invites you to stay, enjoy, or continue cycling.
