At the valley station of the Niederbauenbahn in Emmetten, the route goes straight on, with a slight ascent to Hotel Seeblick. Here a short break is worthwhile to enjoy the wonderful view over Lake Lucerne towards Bürgenberg and Pilatus. Afterwards it continues to the RisletenTrail, which leads down to the lake through fun switchbacks and flowing sections right in the forest. Once the strenuous descent is managed, you roll along the lake, relaxed, towards Beckenried. The lake here certainly invites you to a swim.
With a day bike ticket from the Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG, further routes can be explored.
