The fourth stage of the Sihl Experience Route starts at Einsiedeln station and runs towards Sihlsee. Particularly impressive is the moor landscape of the Schwantenau, a glacial tongue basin of national importance, which conveys a mystical atmosphere. After crossing the Sihl again at the Devil's Bridge, the path leads at the foot of Etzel into the Dreiwässern area, where Alp and Biber flow into the Sihl. Along a historic canal for hydropower generation, you walk above the Sihl to the stage destination Schindellegi.
