The walk to Trachslau has a very flat profile. At the beginning, the path follows the Alp river, then you switch to the Jakobsweg and stroll over lush meadows towards Trachslau. At the end, you walk in a curve through the village of Trachslau to the Postbus stop. At the Postbus stop, you can either take the Postbus back to Einsiedeln or return the same way to the monastery village.
