- Destination: Mountain station funicular Schwyz-Stoos
A really great, short trail for beginners or just to stretch your legs in the snow briefly. The start of the Stoos-Rieter trail is at Stooshorn (old mountain station of the funicular). From there, it goes gently about 600 m slightly downhill towards Muotathal. Then there is a slight but hardly noticeable ascent over about 400 m, and then it goes almost straight back to the starting point at the beginning of Stoos mountain village.
