The hike with the best view of the Mythen and over the Alpine world, lakes.

We start our hike about 100m next to the mountain station of the Morschach-Stoos aerial cableway, where we turn onto Stooswaldstrasse direction Morschach. In the middle of the forest, we turn at the Jochli-Eu fork onto the hiking trail. Through the shady forest, we reach the pasture area of Alp Eu without great effort. Now begins the ascent of the north face of the Fronalpstock via the Bärentros path. The mountain path is manageable but requires good surefootedness. After passing the large spruces and gnarled pines, we reach the flatter western alpine area of the Fronalpstock. It continues uphill westwards. By now, it becomes clear why the path is called the lookout trail. The whole Schwyz basin lies at our feet. At Charenstöckli, we take a short detour to Chänzeli. This offers an overview of Morschach. From now on, we have only one goal in mind, the Fronalpstock summit.

Here we first enjoy the view of more than ten Swiss lakes and countless Alpine peaks. We follow the Fronalpstock panorama trail and thus reach the descent heading towards Furggeli. From there, we continue to descend into the quiet Frontal valley and follow the mountain stream until we return to the mountain village of Stoos. Passing Stoos-Seeli, we reach again our starting point at the aerial cableway.
