Wines from Kirchbühl
The vineyard was planted in 2021 with the varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Souvignier Gris, Blütmuskateller, and Donauriesling. The first grapes were harvested just one year later.
The wines are marketed by the newly founded Weinbau Sempachersee GmbH, based in Sursee. www.weinbau-sempachersee.ch
The goal is to produce single-varietal, characterful, and authentic single-vineyard wines labeled “Kirchbühl ob Sempach.” The terroir is evident in the wines’ character and uniqueness.
