The bike route takes you to the Haldi, the sun terrace above Schattdorf. The varied route leads over forest roads, alpine trails, and singletrails, accompanied by a breathtaking view of the Urner mountain panorama.

You ascend to the Haldi via the steadily rising forest road, mostly shaded. At the Figstuhl homestead, you have the first opportunity to enjoy the stunning view of Lake Uri. The path then continues along lush meadows to Oberfeld, the highest point of your route at 1446 m.

Surrounded by the nearby mountains, a short rest is advised before you take on the attractive singletrail to Billenberg. At Schwandiberg, a 3 km detour to the Schilt viewpoint is recommended. The ascent is challenging, but you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over the entire Urner valley floor.

On the way back, you pass the Haldi chapel, which resembles a Norwegian stave church. To finish, enjoy the impressive descent through magnificent deciduous forest along the old forest trail back to Schattdorf.

Note:

The route is continuously marked with No. 413.
