This varied section of the path is part of the "Luzerner Weg", which leads from Lucerne to Rüeggisberg.

From Werthenstein Abbey, the path leads us over the Kleine Emme and then along hilly paths through the hamlet of Buholz and past Soppisee to Geiss, where the Landgasthof Ochsen invites you to stop for a meal. From there it is not far to Willisau, where a stroll through the medieval old town is worthwhile.
