Panorama route March

This hike has a lot to offer. A wild romantic start in the Wägital, then a scenic section above the villages of Siebnen, Altendorf up to Feusisberg. The view of Lake Zurich up to Säntis is fantastic.

Anyone who likes can make a cultural stop before the hike and visit the Marchmuseum with the Fasnacht mask exhibition in Rempen/Vorderthal.

Then or instead, hikers in Vorderthal cross the Aa, then walk along the right side of the road towards Schrot and Gfell to Stalden at 673 meters. A beautiful view over Lake Zurich, the Linth area, the March and Höfe accompanies you to Pfäffikon.

It is a beautiful panorama route with wonderful views of Lake Zurich and the Linth area. The entire route is around 20 kilometers long, but there are always options to shorten it if someone wishes – perhaps to visit the Frauenwinkel nature reserve in Pfäffikon. Or to enjoy and relax at Europe's largest water park, the Alpamare, also in Pfäffikon.

Directions

The route starts at the Sonne bus stop in Vorderthal, from there via Obere Brätten, Mutzenrüti, Eggli, where shortly afterwards the Spreitenbachtobel is crossed. After a short climb to Zug, it goes again over meadows and forest paths via Schweigrüti, Rietsch towards Autis to Bilsten. Then the route leads over Schwändi, afterwards you hike via Feusisberg to Schindellegi (shortcut options in Pfäffikon by bus or train).
