From Willerzell, the route leads with scenic views over heights and forests towards Einsiedeln. Along the way, moor landscapes and the historic Way of St. James accompany you to the monastery town.

The path begins at the church in Willerzell and ascends towards Stöcklichrüz. On this section, wide panoramas open up over Lake Sihl and into the Schwyz Pre-Alps. The route continues through varied cultural landscapes with views of moor areas such as Roblosen, which is listed in the federal inventory of moor landscapes of national significance. From the village of Egg SZ, the Sihl ErlebnisWeg follows the course of the Sihl. At the historic Devil's Bridge, the river is crossed, then the route runs a stretch along the European Way of St. James to the center of Einsiedeln. Here, the monastery and numerous pilgrim offerings shape the stage destination.
